Application are invited from the candidates for the temporary position in the Division of Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture SKUAST-Jammu as detailed below.

Title of the project : Demonstration of technologies for improving productivity of Rain fed area in Jammu district (DST-SEED, New Delhi)
Position(s) : Project Coordinator- III
No of position : 01
Emoluments : Rs. 30,000/- p. m. (consolidated)
Essential Qualifications :
M.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering with specialization of Soil and Water Conservation Engineering /Irrigation and Drainage Engg./Land and Water Management Engg or M.Tech. in Civil Engineering with specialization water resource engineering
Desired qualification/ experience :
1. Design of soil and water conservation structures, water harvesting structures
2. Micro Irrigation systems

Emoluments : Rs. 22,000/- p. m. (consolidated)
Essential Qualifications : Graduate in Agriculture with PG in Horticulture /Vegetable Science
Desired qualification/ experience : Fruit crops study in rainfed area
Terms and conditions for the posts under project are as under:
i. The position is purely temporary, time bound and co-terminus with the project and will be initially filled up to March 2018 and will be extendable depending on performance and availability of budget.
ii. The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill the positions, depending on the qualifications/credentials of the candidates applied etc.
iii. The services of the incumbent shall stand terminated automatically on expiry of the period of the project with no claim of absorption against any temporary/regular post in the University.
iv. The appointee can be terminated at any time by University without assigning any reason thereof.
