The Executive Engineer (Ele), Lakshadweep Electricity Department, Union Territory of Lakshadweep, Kavaratti invites qualified local candidates for a Walk-in-interview for the post mentioned below.

The interested candidates may appear before the Committee constituted for the selection purpose at Govt.Senior Secondary School,Ground,Kavaratti on 17/01/2017 AM/PM with all documents in original and one sets of attested copies. Details of the requirements and Eligibility terms are given below.

Educational Qualification :
1. SSLC Pass
2.Valid Driving License as Fork Lift Operator
Experience :
Minimum, none year of experience in operation of Fork lift in Central Govt/State Govt/Autonomous institutions. Certificate to the effect obtained from an officer not below the rank of an Executive Engineer is essential.
Selection criteria :
a) 50% weightage for Academic qualifications (5 marks will be deducted for each appearance in SSLC exam from second appearance onwards)
b) 20% weightage for experience (5 marks shall be awarded for 1 year of experience subject to a maximum of 20)
c) 25 % weightage for field test ( Passing of test mandatory)
d) 5% weightage for license (weightage will be given for those who have heavy driving license)
Age : Below 40 years
Nature of job :
The selected candidate must ready to work at anytime of the day as required by the department.
They should also be ready to do any other works entrusted by the Department on the days when Fork Lift Operation is not required.
The attested copies of Caste Certificate,Proof of age, Educational Qualification, Training, Certificate & Valid driving license are to be handed over to the Registration Desk on 17/01/2017.
The original documents should be available with the candidates till the selection processes are completed. Registration will be from 9 AM to 10.30 AM On 17/01/2017 Candidates turn up after the Registration time w~1I not be considered for the further selection exercise.
