Name of Post : Senior Research Fellow (1 Post)
Essential: M. Sc. (Agricultural Extension/ Economics/Agronomy/Horticulture). Candidates having 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification as mentioned in ICAR memorandum F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015.
Desirable: Experience of farmer participatory research. Knowledge and experience of data analysis through relevant software and reporting
Name of Post : Field Assistant
Essential: B. Sc. in Agriculture
Desirable: Experience of working in farm, basic computer knowledge.
Terms and Conditions:
i) Age limit: Maximum age is 35 years for SRF and Field Assistant (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC)
ii) The posts are purely temporary, the candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project.
iii) The SRF and Field Assistants will not be entitled for any regular leave, but are allowed to have CL and RH from time to time, not exceeding 10 days in a year.
The SRFs are full time worker and are required to adhere to the administrative, financial and disciplinary regulations of ICAR-IARI, hence regular attendance of the SRF will be maintained by keeping an attendance register.
The Field Assistant/(s) may be posted at project location (Palwal, Haryana) iv) The interview of eligible candidates will be held according to schedule given above.
v) The candidates will have to compulsorily bring the filled in application form (as per the format annexed), all the original certificates from matriculation onwards, date of birth certificate, NET/equivalent certificate, degree certificate either original or provisional and one set of the self-attested photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph pasted onto the application form. Proof of experience and publications also need to be submitted.
vi) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
vii) Only the candidates meeting essential qualifications would be interviewed
viii) Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination of candidature even after selection.
ix) The candidates are required to submit the application either through email to burman_extn[at]hotmail.com or at the time of interview as per the format annexed along with the declaration.
x) The candidate intending to attend the interview, if any near or distant relative of the candidate is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, the candidate has to declare his/her name, esignation, nature of duties, relationship in writing so as to reach Dr. R. Roy Burman, Principal Scientist (Agricultural Extension) Division of Agriculture Extension, ICARIARI New Delhi (burman_extn[at]hotmail.com) by 14th December, 2016.
If such declaration is furnished on the date of interview and found that his/her relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI, such candidate will not be allowed for interview.
xi) All the other candidates are also required compulsorily to furnish the declaration duly signed in the format annexed and submit on the date of interview.
xii) The candidates have to strictly follow the form annexed (typed/filled) duly signed and submit on the date of interview.
xiii) Reporting time for interview on 14th December, 2016, till 11.00 AM. The candidates reporting till 11.00 AM will be interviewed.
