Staff Nurse Recruitment :

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the following posts (S.No. 1 to 5) in the prescribed format along with the requisite fee and should reach at the office of the undersigned by not later than 15:30 hours on 30TH MAY 2017.

For S.No.1.
Post : Specialist Grade-II (TB & Chest Diseases) 1(One) [Reserved for OBC]
Pay Band with Grade Pay : ` 15600-39100+GP ` 6600/-(Group-A)
Essential Qualification:
(i) A recognized medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or Part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956. (Persons possessing qualifications included in Part-II of third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section of section 13 of the Act). A postgraduate qualification e.g. M.D. in TB and Respiratory Diseases from an Indian University or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. OR Diploma in TB and Chest Diseases.
Experience: 3 years experience in TB and Chest Diseases in a recognized Institution after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD (TB and Respiratory Diseases). 5 years experience in TB and Chest Diseases in a recognized Institution after obtaining the Diploma
Age: Upto 45 years

For S.No.2.
Post : Health Education Officer -1 (One) [Unreserved]
Pay Band with Grade Pay : ` Rs.15600-39100+GP Rs.5400/- (Group-A)
Essential Qualification & Experience:
(i) Master Degree in Anthropology/ Sociology/ Psychology/ Social work from a recognized University or equivalent; and
(ii) Diploma in Health Education or M.P.H. (majoring in Health Education) or equivalent – qualification from a recognized Institution.
(iii) 3 years research/training experience in Community Health work/social education field.
Desirable: Experience in production/ development of Health Education material such as pamphlets, posters film strips, exhibits etc. (ii) Preference will be given to those who have experience in I.E.C. in the field of Tuberculosis.
Note 1. Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the selection committee in the case of candidate otherwise well qualified.
Age: Upto 35 years.

Post : Laboratory Assistant – One (1) – (UR-1)
Pay Band with Grade Pay : Rs.5200-20200+GP Rs.2000/- (Group-C)
Essential: A. Educational & Experience: Qualifications: – a) 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board or Institution/University. b) 2 years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology with one year experience.
Age: Between 18 to 25 years.

Post : Assistant Engineer (Civil) 1 (One) [UR]
Pay Band with Grade Pay : Rs. 9300-34800+GP Rs. 4600/- (Group-B)
Essential Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central Govt. or equivalent qualification.
Experience: Three years after obtaining the minimum qualification required for the post.
Age: Upto 35 years

Post : Staff Nurse -2(Two) [Unreserved-1, ST-1)
Pay Band with Grade Pay : Rs.9300-34800+GP Rs.4600/- (Group-B)
Essential Qualification & Experience: 3 years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or equivalent. Registered as Nurse; and Registered as Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Council.
Age : upto 35 years

General Instructions:
(i) Crucial date for determining age limit will be the closing date of receipt of applications.
(ii) The appointment will be governed by the standard terms and conditions as per the Institute rules applicable from time to time.
(iii) NITRD reserves the right to fix criteria for calling the required number of candidates, as may be necessary, for interview.
(iv) The prescribed essential qualifications as above are bare minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.
(v) NITRD reserves the right to fill or not to fill the posts mentioned above without assigning any reason(s).
(vi) No. of posts can be increased or decreased by the Competent Authority
(vii) Incomplete applications not on the prescribed proforma will be summarily rejected.

(viii) The candidate already in Govt. Service should send his/her application through proper channel or they have to bring ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their present employer at the time of interview.

(ix) Candidates are required to enclose attested Photostat copies of all certificates in support of qualifications and experience.
(x) Applicants should affix recently taken attested passport size photograph on the application.

(xi) The completed application form should be accompanied by requisite nonrefundable fee in the form of Demand Draft of any Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of “Director, National Institute of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases” payable at New Delhi. No fees for SC/ST/PH & Woman candidates.

(xii) Completed application form should be sent to Director, National Institute of TB & Respiratory Diseases, Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi-110030 on or before the last date.
(xiii) Applications received after the last date will not be considered.
