Aircraft Technician Recruitment :

Recruitment of Experienced Aircraft Technician and Skilled Tradesmen in Upholstery and Painting trades from open market.

I. AIRCRAFT TECHNICIAN
1. Number of Vacancies:
Total estimated present and future Vacancies are as follows, which may, however, vary depending upon change of situation/ workload and actual requirement of AIESL.
Distribution of vacancies:
Aircraft Technician : Total 87 (SC =13, ST = 07, OBC = 24, General = 43)
Reservation and concessions/relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen candidate would be as per Government Directives in this regard.

2. Eligibility Criteria as on 1st June 2017:
AME Diploma/Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from Institutions approved by DGCA under Rule 133 B with 60% marks/equivalent grade (55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
Candidates from DGCA Approved AME Training Institute as per current list are who eligible.

For Ex-servicemen
Successful completion of Group 1 related equivalent qualification of Diploma in Engineering for Airframe/Engine/Electrical/Instrument/Radio trades conducted by the Indian Airforce, which are acceptable as qualification by DGCA for fulfilling the eligibility requirement for BAMEL examination.
(Or)
Successful Completion of 4 years course / Diploma in Aircraft/ Electrical/ Instrument/ Radio Artificer training, conducted by Indian Navy, which are acceptable as qualification by DGCA for fulfilling the eligibility requirement for BAMEL examination.

Diploma in Engineering (3Years) in Mechanical/ Electrical/Instrumentation/ Electronics and Telecommunication/ Radio Engineering or equivalent recognized by Central/State Government with 60% marks/equivalent grade ( 55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

The candidates must have at-least 01 years Aviation experience post-qualification on B737-800 Aircraft Maintenance or B737-800 Aircraft components.

3. Age Limit:
General Category – Not above 35 yrs. as on 1st June, 2017.
OBC- Not above 38 Yrs. as on 1st June, 2017.
SC/ST- Not above 40 yrs. as on 1st June, 2017.
Ex-Servicemen- Upper age limit of 35 yrs. would be relaxed to the extent the candidate has served in a regular post in Army/Navy/Air Force before retirement/release or discharge from such post plus three years.

II. SKILLED TRADESMEN IN UPHOLSTERY AND PAINTING TRADES
1. Number of Vacancies
Total estimated present and future Vacancies are as follows, which may, however, vary depending upon change of situation/ workload and actual requirement of AIESL.
Distribution of vacancies:
Tradesmen : Total 07 (SC = 01, ST = 01, OBC = 02, General = 03)
Reservation and concessions/relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen candidate would be as per Government Directives in this regard.

2. Eligibility Criteria as on 1st June 2017:
Qualification: ITI in painting / Upholstery, issued by Govt. of India or KGTE / KGCE, issued by state Govt. with minimum 3 years work experience in aviation industry/airline post-qualification in painting/ Upholstery trades.

3. Age Limit:
General Category – Not above 45 yrs. as on 1st June, 2017.
OBC- Not above 48 Yrs. as on 1st June, 2017.
SC/ST- Not above 50 yrs. as on 1st June, 2017.

HOW TO APPLY :
a) Interested candidates meeting with the Eligibility criteria mentioned in this advertisement, as on 01 JUNE, 2017, are required to walk-in to the venue given below on the date(s) and time as indicated along with the duly filled in Application form, in the prescribed format with all the requisite documents along with non-refundable application fee of Rs.1000/-(Rupees One Thousand Only) by means of A/c Payee Demand Draft in favour of “Air India Engineering Services Limited” payable at Delhi. (SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman candidates are exempted from payment of this Fee).

The walk in interviews will be held at Trivandrum on 28, 29 & 30th JUNE 2017 09:30 AM to 05:30 PM.

The candidates may be required to stay back at Trivandrum for the interview incase of reporting of large number of candidates further incased of reporting of very large number of candidates the walk-in interview may be spread over subsequent dates one day extra so required depending upon the no of candidates appearing for walk in interview.

b) The Applications of the candidates would be scrutinized and prima-facie, after scrutiny if they found eligible then only they will be allowed for walk-in interview.

c) A recent (not more than three months old) colored passport-size photograph of the full face (front view) should be pasted neatly in the space provided in the Application Form.

d) The candidates belonging to OBC categories, at the time of walk-in interview, must submit a self-attested photocopy of the Non-Creamy Certificate, recently issued by the Competent Authority, in the format as prescribed by Govt. of India.

The Certificate, inter alia, must specifically state that the candidate does not belong to socially advanced sections excluded from the benefits of reservations for OBC in civil posts and services under the Government of India.

The Certificate should also contain the “Non-Creamy Layer” Clause. The Certificate produced by the candidates of OBC community should be as per the Central List published by the Government of India and not as per the State Lists.

e) Applicants ordinarily domiciled in Kashmir Division of J & K State during 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 who are eligible for the upper age relaxation, must produce the Domicile Certificate to this effect at the time of Interview from the District Magistrate in the Kashmir Division, within whose jurisdiction the applicant had ordinarily resided or any other authority designated in this regard by the Government of Jammu & Kashmir.

f) The applicant should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility criteria as on 01 JUNE 2017. Other particulars furnished should be correct in all respects.

At any stage of the Selection Process, if the particulars provided by the candidates in the application or testimonials supplied are found incorrect/false, or not meeting with the eligibility requirements prescribed for the post, the candidature is liable to be rejected and, if engaged, services terminated, without giving any notice or reasons therefor.

g) Self-attested clear copies of the supportive documents in respect of Item Nos: 9, 10, and 12 of the Application Format must be submitted along with the Application. Self-Attested photocopy of the Caste Certificate should also be attached with the application, in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates only.

h) Original certificates are required to be brought, at the time of walk-in interview, for verification purpose only, but should not be submitted/attached along with the Application. The Company is not responsible for returning any original copies of certificates/testimonials submitted with the application.

i) Applicants working in Government/Semi-Government/Public Sector Undertakings or autonomous bodies, must bring complete Application Form routed through proper channel or along with “No Objection Certificate” from their present employer.
