EXAMINATION SCHEDULE :
NEE – I : 22/04/2017 (Saturday) from 10.00 A.M to 1.00 P.M.
NEE – II & III : 23/04/2017 (Sunday)from 10.00 A.M to 1.00 P.M.

NEE-I (Paper Code 10) :
It is conducted with a single question paper of 150 marks of three hours duration consisting of three sections viz. Section A (Physics), Section B (Chemistry) and Section C (Mathematics). Candidates appearing in NEE-I (Paper Code 10) are eligible for admission to Base (Certificate) Module of Technology Stream.

NEE-II (Paper Codes 20 to 29) : The NEE-II is conducted with a single question paper of 150 marks of three hours duration. The examination paper consists of either three or four sections with details given below.

Examination Scheme for NEE-II :
There are three different examination schemes/ modes of question papers :
(i) NEE-II (PCM):
Candidates, seeking admission in Diploma Module of Technology Stream, with academic qualification of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics shall have to attempt NEE-II (PCM). Question paper under this scheme consists of three sections viz. Section A, Section B and Section C. Paper code for this scheme is 20.

(ii) NEE-II (Vocational):
Candidates, seeking admission in Diploma Module of Technology Stream, with academic qualification of 10+2 (Vocational)/ITI/NERIST Certificate in any trade shall have to attempt NEE-II (Vocational). Question paper under this scheme consists of four sections viz. Section A, Section B, Section C and Section D.

Important Notes:
(i) There will be two sub-sections in Section D, i.e., D (a): Common Engineering Sciences, and D (b): Engineering Trade/Subject.
(ii) Sections A, B, C, and Section D (a) are compulsory for all.
(iii) Section D (a) of the question paper will contain 10 questions of 1-mark each & 5 questions of 2-marks each from syllabus of the Common Engineering Sciences.

(iv) Candidates have to select only ONE of the Engineering Trade, as per the choice given in the Admit Card, out of total Eight Engineering Trades (Codes 21 to 28: Details given in Table – I).

(v) Section D (b) will contain 20 questions of 1-mark each & 15 questions of 2-marks each from the syllabus of the relevant Trade / Branch subject, as chosen by the applicant from Table – I.

(vi) All the eight Engineering Trade/Branch papers will be in ONE Question Paper.

(vii) Section D (b) will be after the compulsory sections of Physics (Section A) /Chemistry (Section B) /Mathematics (Section C) /Common Engineering Sciences (Section D (a)).

(iii) NEE-II (PCB):
Candidates, seeking admission to 4 years’ Degree program in Forestry, with academic qualification of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology shall have to attempt NEE-II (PCB). Question paper under this scheme consists of three sections viz. Section A, Section B and Section C.
