1. Assistant Executive Engineer (Ele./E & C) – (Class:I)
Department : Mechanical Engineering
No. of vacancies : 2(Two) (UR)
Scale of pay : 20600:46500
Age Limit : 30 years
Qualification & Experience
Essential:
Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized university/Institution.
Desirable :
Two years experience in relevant discipline in executive cadre in an Industrial/ Commercial/ Govt. Undertaking.
2. Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) :(Class:I)
Department : Civil Engineering
No. of vacancies: 4(Four) (2:UR, 1:SC & 1 –OBC))
Scale of pay : 20600:46500
Age Limit : 30 years
Qualification & Experience
Essential:
Degree or equivalent in Civil Engg. From a recognized university/Institution.
Desirable :
Two years experience in executive cadre in Planning/Construction/Design/Maintenance preferably of Port and Marine Structures in an Industrial /Commercial/ Govt. Undertaking.
3. Marine Engineer :(Class:I)
Department : Marine.
No. of vacancies: 2(Two) :UR
Scale of pay : 29100:54500
Age Limit : 40 years
Qualification & Experience
(i) MOT I Class Motor Certificate issued under Merchant Shipping Act 1958.
(ii) One year post Qualification experience as Chief Engineer/2nd Engineer on board a foreign going Ship.
The candidates should submit separate applications for each post, superscribed on the cover “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE ENGINEER (ELE./E & C)”/“APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE ENGINEER(C)”/APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF MARINE ENGINEER”.
Candidates from Cochin Port Trust can also apply, provided they possess the prescribed qualifications and experience. Age limit will not apply.
The Port Trust reserves the right to shortlist the applicants for the post of Assistant Executive Engineer (Ele./E & C) and Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) based on merit in written test/ interview and for the post of Marine Engineer based on merit in interview.
