Cabin Safety Inspector Recruitment :
Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for appointment of Consultant(s) against the post(s) of Cabin Safety Inspectors on purely contract basis initially for a period of one year or till regular incumbents(s) joins or until further orders whichever is earlier on a fixed remuneration of Rs. 50,000/-per month.

The place of duty will be DGCA (HQ) New Delhi or any of the Regional offices of DGCA.
Post : Cabin Safety Inspector

Upper age limit : 40 years
Eligibility :
(i) Should have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) of a Central or State Board.
(ii) Should be a DGCA approved Safety and Emergency Procedures (SEP) Instructor on type of aircraft being operated by the airline.
OR
(ii) Should have ten years experience as SEP Instructor out of which minimum three years experience as Check Cabin Crew on a large commercial air transport aeroplanes.
Duties & responsibilities :
i) To carry out functions assigned in accordance with CAP 3100 for certification of an Air Operator.
(ii) To carry out surveillance of Air Operator.
(ii) To develop cabin safety policies, procedures through CARs, cabin safety circulars and their revisions.
(iv) To provide expert advice and technical guidance on cabin safety requirements.
(v) To process approval for SEP instructors, training facilities, training manual, Emergency Exit Trainer, acceptance of SEP manual and QRH for cabin attendant.
(vi) In addition to above any other work assigned by the Senior Officers.
The application(s) in the prescribed proforma from the eligible and interested officers are invited which should reach the Recruitment Cell, DGCA alongwith NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from present employer latest by 26th April, 2017 (Applications received after the closing date or otherwise found incomplete will not be considered).
The officers should ensure that the up-to-date photocopies of Annual Performance Appraisal Reports for the last five years alongwith Integrity Certificate and a statement of major/minor penalty, imposed, if any, during preceding 5 years be sent by the present employer(s), if applicable.
