Intern, Consultant Recruitment :

Applications are invited for 11 Interns and 4 Consultants to be posted in Planning and Finance Departments of Haryana on payment of consolidated stipend of Rs. 20,000/- per month for each Intern and Rs. 50,000/- per month for each Consultant.

The interested candidates can submit their applications online through our departmental website up to 09/02/2017 at 3:00p.m. They should also send the hard copy of the application in the Yojana Bhawan, Bays No. 21-28, Sector-4, Panchkula.

Interns :
Objective :
To develop awareness about the overall process of formulation and implementation of Economic Policies of the State Government.

Areas :
The following areas have been illustratively identified for the placement of Interns and Consultants :
Long & Short Term Debt Management Cell of Finance Department, to examine/provide the necessary input in the critical issues of the State Govt. on the subject related to the branches of Finance Department to analyze the Central Sector Schemes and their releases.

PPP Cell, provide support in organizing/reporting and preliminary work for the Projects under SFC, analytical work relating to parameters of evaluation/assessment of different schemes, programmes & proposals.

Eligibility :
Indian nationals Post Graduates/pursuing Post Graduation/ pursuing Research Courses in Economics/Finance/Management and in the 4th and 5th year of 5 year integrated course in any other professional course from recognized State/Central Universities/ Institutions of National and International repute are eligible to apply for the Internship provided :
a) Post Graduate in Economic/Finance/ Management with 55% marks or
b) Pursuing Post Graduate course in Economic/Finance/ Management should have obtained a 1st class Graduate Degree or
c) Pursuing Research Scholars course in Economic/Finance/ Management should have obtained atleast 55% marks in Post Graduation or
d) Students in the 4th and 5th year of 5 year integrated course should have obtained atleast 60% in 1st and 2nd year.
e) Computer skills in Word Processing, Spread Sheet Operations and PPT

Duration : The initial period of Internship shall be one year which may be extended on year to year basis.
Remuneration : Stipend @ ` 20,000/- per month per Intern, payable on satisfactory performance.

Consultant :
Objective :
i) To provide intellectual or knowledge-based services (e.g. expert analysis and advice) through delivering reports, studies, assessments, recommendations, proposals, etc. that contribute to decision- or policy-making in a contracting authority.

ii) To carry out a specific finite task or set of tasks that involve expert skills or capabilities that would not normally be expected to reside within the contracting authority.

Eligibility :
a) A bachelor’s degree in Financial Management/Economics/ Statistics/ Operation Research froma recognized university

b) At least 3 years experience at Deputy Director level or 5 years experience at Assistant Director level in the field of Administration of Financial and Economic Administration or experience as a Consultant in Macro Economic Analysis.

c) Maximum age limit shall be 65 years.

Desirable :
a) Good Academic Record.
b) Strong Communication skills, both oral and written.
c) Conversant with Govt. Rules and regulations required to carry out administrative functions.
