Engagement of Advisor (Technical) on Job Contract basis

Madhya Pradesh Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Limited Indore, a successor Company of erstwhile M.P.S.E.B., has been incorporated to undertake activities of distribution and retail supply of electricity in the Western region in State of M.P.

The Company intends to engage Advisor (Technical) on job contract basis for a period of one year from the date of joining which may be extended further for one year if the services is found satisfactory during the contract period.

Applications are invited from the interested and eligible candidates for the aforesaid post. The eligibility criteria, age limit, scope of work and terms & conditions are as under:

Eligibility Criteria :
(a) Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering from any institute recognized by AICTE with minimum 03 years of work experience on the post of Chief Engineer & above in M.P. Power Distribution Utilities,
(b) Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering from any institute recognized by AICTE with minimum 05 years of work experience on the post of Chief Engineer & above, in any other Power utility (except M.P).

Age Limit: The applicant should not be more than 62 years as on 01.01.2017 and must possess sound health.

Scope of Work: The engaged person will be required to advise on following matters:
(a) Maximization of LT less system to reduce AT&C losses.
(b) Monitoring of construction activities under various schemes including various ongoing Turnkey projects including DDUGJY/IPDS Scheme in the Company.
(c) Implementation of proper maintenance of distribution network including transformers, protection equipments, HT/LT lines etc.
(d) Development of digital mapping of the entire distribution system.
(e) Formulation/Implementation of system improvement/technical up gradation policies for loss reduction, improvement of quality and reliability of supply and power factor of the system.
(f) Controlling/monitoring of substation operations and implementation of load regulatory measures at substation level.
(g) Implementation of computerized load flow studies to effect judicious investment in strengthening of distribution system.
(h) Monitoring of procurement works at Corporate level in the Company.
(i) Shall also be responsible for the duties/ works allocated by MD of the Company from time to time.

Terms and Conditions :
(a) The consolidated honorarium of Advisor (Technical) Last Drawn Pay less first pension, subject to a maximum of Rs. 9 Lakhs per annum.
(b) The Advisor (Technical) will not be entitled to any administrative and financial powers.
(c) The Advisor (Technical) will be entitled for 12 days casual leave only, during one year.
(d) The Advisor (Technical) will be entitled for TA/DA and accommodation charges for journey performed by him/her for the related work as admissible to the officers at grade pay of Rs.10,000/-.
(e) The workplace of Advisor (Technical) shall be at Corporate Office, Indore and he/she shall directly report to MD.
(f) Consent from the selected candidate will be obtained to maintain secrecy of the office.
(g) No vigilance/ EOW/ Lokayukt/ Departmental proceedings case is pending against him/her.

Selection Process :
(a) The scrutiny of applications will be carried out by the Human Resource Department of the Company.
(b) The eligible candidates shall be called for an interview at Company Headquarters.
(c) The candidate satisfying all the eligibility conditions and selected by the Company, may be appointed as Advisor (Technical).

Note: The Company also reserves the right to cancel the process of engagement of Advisor (Technical) at any stage without assigning any reason.

Termination of Job Contract:
Either party can terminate the job contract by giving one month’s notice or one month honorarium, in lieu thereof.

Guidelines for submission of the Applications:
The duly completed Application in prescribed format should be submitted on or before 01.02.2017 (up to 05:30 pm) in the office of CGM (HR&A) MPPKVVCL, GPH Campus, Pologround, Indore Pin- 452003 (M.P.), only in sealed envelope.

Delay on any account shall not be considered and the applications received after due date will not be entertained.
